Dear AMOC member:

We would like to see you at the Summer Clam-bake/Garden-party.  That's 2-5pm on Saturday July 29 [SOON].   Please get me your RSVP now, as we have only 20 spaces still available.

This year we are hosted by AMOC member Steven Silberberg at his farm (details here) just north of Boston in Bedford New Hampshire.

With capacious outdoor and indoor space, the event will take place rain or shine (though, of course, we are pushing for "shine").

After a delicious summer drive to the farm, you will be pleased to find plenty of area on which to securely park your car.

The setting in the rural idylls of New Hampshire evokes the farm's foundation-year of 1728. The farm's outbuildings contain many surprises, including Steven's eclectic auto etceterini and vintage farm equipment in use.  You will have an opportunity to meet the herd of Belted Galloways who share their British heritage with the Astons.  You can join the optional treasure hunt in the woods--or a walk to the hidden orchard.  Bring sturdy shoes and a sense of adventure for a stroll into yesteryear.

Food and refreshments will be provided by the Ipswich Clam Bake Company.  In addition to their eponymous menu item, there will be non-shellfish dishes available for those, like me, who do not indulge in New England's obsession with cooked ocean creatures.

Sign-up and enjoy camaraderie and calories outdoors on a summer's day among a fun group of people.

This is one not to miss.
