Aston Martin Owners Club NA Legal Statement - Privacy and Usage of Information Policy
Definition of Terms
"We", "us" and "our" refers to the Aston Martin Owners Club of North America (AMOC-NA). AMOC-NA functions in combination with two related but separate entities, (AMOC NA East and AMOC NA West), but "we", "us" and "our" do not refer to either of these entities in their respective individual capacities. "Personal information" means information about you or your computer that we collect in connection with your application for membership, your communications with us, your participation in our activities, your use of our website, or any other nonpublic means by which we receive information about you. Personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records.

Confidentiality, Use, and Security of your Personal Information
AMOC-NA does not sell, rent or lease its member lists to third parties. We may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of sponsors about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your unique personally identifiable information is not transferred to the third party. In addition, AMOC-NA may share data with trusted partners to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide member support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited by our agreements with them from using or disseminating your personal information except to provide these services to the AMOC-NA, and they are required by our agreements with them to maintain the confidentiality of your information. We do not make your personal information available to Aston Martin Lagonda, Ltd, or any of its affiliate companies or partners.
AMOC-NA may use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from us. We may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.
Our members' personal information is accessible within AMOC-NA only on a “need to know” basis. We restrict access to personal information about members to those volunteers or to our local Area Representatives who need to know that information to perform their jobs, and to our officers and committee members who need to know that information to serve in their roles with us. We maintain reasonable safeguards to guard your personal information.
The Aston Martin Owners Club of North America secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure, except as otherwise noted in this Policy. The Aston Martin Owners Club of North America secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
The AMOC-NA website may have features which expose limited amounts of personal information. These features may include, but are not limited to, access to the Forums at amoc.org and the Member Lists and Registers produced and distributed by the Aston Martin Owners Club (U.K.). You may opt-out of appearing in the Member Lists by modifying your Member Profile. Participation in an AMOC Forum is optional, and will be visible on the website.
