Saturday, November 7th 1pm – Private showing of a Classic Bond movie at the Cabot Theater in Beverley MA.  The showing will be preceded by a tasting of the Whiskeys and Gins of the Cotswolds Distillery.  AMOC member Matt Beaulieu is organizing all this for us.

NEWPORT JAZZ FESTIVAL

Newport Jazz Festival from the water in Newport RI.  AMOC member David Bond will arrange for us to watch the acts from the water in comfortable motor-yachts (including his).  We will start with a buffet meal at the marina and then head on out for cocktails while listening to world-class jazz.  Expect to create happy memories of summer 2020!

Gastronomic Walking Tour Boston’s Italian North End

Saturday, July 18th, 6 – 9.30pm – Gastronomic walking tour and wine-tasting in Boston’s Italian North End.  AMOC member Moses Botbol will spearhead a sequential trip to three fine Italian restaurants (antipasti, piatti principali, dolce) and an accompanying wine-tasting.  A chance to take a passeggiata in the summer evening with friends, good food and wine at every turn.

Polo Match Saturday May 30 4 -7pm (Memorial Day Weekend)

Sat May 30 4-7pm (Memorial Day weekend) – Polo Match (5pm) and Potluck Tailgating Picnic (4pm) in Portsmouth RI.  This is the first polo event of Newport Polo Club‘s season and is to benefit local charities.  A chance to shake the mothballs out of your chic outdoor wardrobe;  kick-off the summer with horsemanship and a meal from the car boot, with potluck coordination by member Rhiannon Hayes and Champagne sponsored by Taittinger.

Berkshires Art Rally Weekend Sat/Sun April 11 10am to Apr 12 4pm

Berkshires Art Rally weekend: a drive around the art galleries and restaurants of western Massachusetts, led by our local member Lance Sterman.  The event includes Saturday-night attendance at a Tanglewood TLI concert of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, with James Burton conducting an evening of Rachmaninoff.  We will stay overnight on the Saturday at the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge MA.

  Sun March 22 10am – Maple-themed brunch at Parker’s Maple Barn in Mason NH (Part of “New Hampshire Maple Weekend“).  This is a renowned-but-quirky establishment in the middle of the woods.  Not only a delectable lunch, but a working maple sugaring house to tour and a general store chocked full of fun stuff to browse.
